Dr. Stephen Lycett (Department of Anthropology, University at Buffalo, SUNY) seeks applications for a two-year (fixed-term) Post-Doctoral research associate. The successful applicant will play an integral role in an ongoing research project on the cultural transmission and evolution of material culture. The successful candidate will be a member of the newly established Evolutionary Anthropology Laboratory within the Department of Anthropology at UB, and will be expected to work closely with an interdisciplinary research team. The major activities and responsibilities of this position include: running of cultural transmission experiments, literature research and data analysis, laboratory operations assistance, and contributing to training and laboratory supervision of graduate and undergraduate students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to, and have co-authorship on, peer-reviewed publications, as well as develop their own research under the supervision of Dr. Lycett.
